Orbex is looking for a skilled and experienced AIT Engineer with strong expertise in electrical design, avionics, and data acquisition systems to support the Assembly, Integration, Testing, and Validation (AIT/V) activities for launch vehicle systems. The role involves designing and integrating data acquisition systems and Electrical-Ground Support Equipment (E-GSE), implementing PLC-based control systems, executing electrical and avionics test activities, and ensuring compliance with IPC/WHMA-A-620 and ECSS-Q-ST standards. Responsibilities also include collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, optimizing test processes, and ensuring compliance with ATEX safety standards. Candidates should have a background in Electrical, Avionics, or Aerospace Engineering, with experience in PLC programming, LabView or NI tools, and SolidWorks Electrical. Hands-on experience in testing and integrating avionics systems and familiarity with ATEX or IP620 standards are desirable.
