Orbex is seeking a skilled and experienced AIT Engineer to support Assembly, Integration, Testing and Validation (AIT/V) activities for avionics and electrical systems used in launch vehicles. The role involves designing and integrating data acquisition systems and Electrical Ground Support Equipment (E-GSE), working with PLC-based control systems for ground operations, executing detailed electrical and electronic testing, validation and acceptance activities, and collaborating closely with multidisciplinary teams to specify interfaces and integrate instrumentation on both ground systems and flight vehicles. The position requires hands-on work with avionics and electrical systems, troubleshooting during testing phases, ensuring compliance with industry standards such as IPC/WHMA-A-620 and ECSS-Q-ST, supporting ATEX-compliant system design where applicable, and continuously optimizing testing processes to deliver accurate, reliable results.
