Mistral AI is hiring an Applied AI, Forward Deployed Machine Learning Engineer to join its Applied AI team and collaborate with enterprise customers across EMEA. The role focuses on deploying and scaling advanced AI and GenAI applications, implementing Mistral’s AI products from pre-sales to post-deployment, and fine-tuning large language models (LLMs) for complex enterprise use cases. You’ll contribute to open-source AI projects, manage client relations, and work closely with internal research and product teams to improve model capabilities. The ideal candidate has 2+ years of experience as a data scientist or software engineer in AI-based products, strong Python coding skills, and a deep understanding of ML concepts, APIs, and LLM fine-tuning. Experience as a Forward Deployed Engineer, Solutions Architect, or Technical Product Manager is a plus.
