Mistral AI is seeking an Applied AI Engineering Intern to work closely with the Applied AI Engineering team to facilitate adoption of its products among customers and collaborate on complex technical challenges. The role is based in Paris, lasting 3–6 months, with potential continuation through CIFRE programs. Responsibilities include deploying GenAI applications, collaborating with researchers and engineers on complex customer projects, and working with product and science teams to enhance model capabilities. Candidates should be pursuing a degree in AI, Data Science, or related fields, have strong Python skills, familiarity with machine learning algorithms and NLP techniques, basic MLOps knowledge, and strong communication skills. Ideally, experience with deep learning frameworks (PyTorch), version control (Git), Linux shell, HPC environments, and publications in AI is a plus.
