We’re partnering with a rapidly growing seed-stage startup that is modernizing how physical systems and devices are certified, helping industries like aerospace, healthcare, and energy move faster by simplifying complex certification processes. Backed by investors behind Coinbase, Reddit, Klarna, and Spotify, the company has already achieved six-figure revenue and raised $4.5M in seed funding within just three months. As a Backend Engineer, you’ll join the founding team and take ownership of end-to-end feature development—from designing and implementing new services to deploying production-ready code on day one. The ideal candidate will have at least 2+ years of experience in backend or infrastructure engineering with strong skills in Python, TypeScript, Go, or Rust, and experience working with APIs, distributed systems, SQL/graph databases, containers, and AWS (Pulumi preferred). This is an on-site, high-energy environment in London where you’ll have the chance to solve hard technical challenges, improve developer experiences, and work closely with customers. The role offers a competitive base salary of £100K+ with meaningful equity, along with full visa sponsorship and relocation support.
