About the job

Neurolabs is seeking a Computer Vision Lead to guide its ML team and shape how the company builds and delivers state-of-the-art visual AI at scale. The role involves leading a small but talented team focused on complex models, smart pipelines, and growing large vision model foundations, with emphasis on clarity, prioritisation, and people management to ensure sprint rhythms that drive fast, focused delivery. The Computer Vision Lead will coach and grow ML engineers, drive planning, unblock priorities, and maintain a high-performing environment while also contributing to model development, optimisation, and architecture in areas such as large vision models and multimodal approaches. Responsibilities include evolving the technical roadmap, balancing short-term delivery with long-term scalability, collaborating with the Staff ML Engineer to align on technical direction, working cross-functionally with Product, Infrastructure, and Customer teams, and ensuring AI systems are scalable, performant, and impactful. Candidates should have MSc/MRes/MEng or equivalent experience in Computer Vision, Machine Learning, or related fields, proven experience leading CV projects into production, expertise in Python and frameworks like PyTorch or TensorFlow, familiarity with cloud infrastructure (AWS or GCP), knowledge of large vision models, and an understanding of MLOps practices. This is a high-trust, high-impact leadership role offering a competitive salary of up to £130,000 per year, equity options, 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays, private medical coverage including dental, optical, and travel, hybrid-first working with a London office near King’s Cross, annual retreats, a culture of inclusivity, and UK Skilled Worker visa sponsorship for eligible candidates.
