We are seeking a skilled Cybersecurity Analyst to join our dynamic team in Hounslow. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in protecting the organisation’s information systems and networks from cyber threats. Responsibilities include monitoring network traffic for suspicious activity using tools like Nmap, conducting vulnerability assessments and penetration testing, collaborating with IT teams to support network infrastructure including VoIP and MPLS technologies, implementing and maintaining security protocols for cloud architecture and IaaS environments, developing and encoding scripts for automating security tasks, and providing support for IP networking issues. The analyst will also assist in developing cybersecurity policies, procedures, and training materials, and stay current with cybersecurity trends and threats. The role requires proven experience in cybersecurity or a related field, strong knowledge of Debian operating systems, familiarity with cloud computing concepts, experience in network support, proficiency in IP networking, and a good understanding of IaaS environments. Excellent problem-solving and communication skills are essential. The position is full-time, based on-site in Hounslow, with a salary between £38,000 to £42,000 per year and includes UK visa sponsorship.
