Astroscale UK is seeking a motivated Business Development Manager to join its team in Didcot, England, supporting institutional opportunities within the space sector at the Harwell Space Cluster. The role involves capture management and bid production for opportunities with organisations such as the UK Space Agency, European Space Agency and the European Union, including tracking future bid opportunities, supporting project prioritisation and R&D strategy, developing financial inputs, managing and coordinating bids from call opening through submission, controlling bid schedules and finances, coordinating internal teams and external partners, supporting commercial and policy engagements, contributing to product and service development, and representing the company at events and customer meetings. The ideal candidate will have 2–4 years of experience in bid management or sales within the space industry, strong knowledge of the UK and European space ecosystem, excellent communication and commercial skills, and a passion for space and orbital sustainability.
