The EM (Electro-Magnetic) Simulation Engineer role involves performing EMC/EMI simulations for powertrain and propulsion systems including EDUs, inverters, E-Machines, Traction Batteries, HV & LV Charging Systems, and transmissions at component, sub-system, and system levels. The role requires creating simulation models, analyzing electromagnetic designs, interpreting results, performing 3D field simulations, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimize design performance. Candidates will use EM simulation software like CST Microwave Studio, Altair FEKO, Flux, HFSS, and others, conduct measurements, co-relate simulation with physical testing, and support business development by creating proposals. The position requires strong knowledge of EMC/EMI, RF, antenna design, signal/power integrity, electrostatic discharge, radiated and conducted emissions/immunity, and experience in scripting, PCB layout, wiring, and shielding techniques. Candidates must have a bachelor’s, master’s, or PhD in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, 3–10 years of practical experience, excellent problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills, and the ability to work independently in a multi-disciplinary environment.
