Flux Computing designs and manufactures optical processors to train and run inference on large AI models. They are seeking an Embedded Software Engineer to design and build ultra-high-performance tooling that supports OTPU hardware development, owning tools spanning hardware safety, calibration, debugging and validation. This includes rapid prototyping in Python, full production-grade embedded systems for hardware safety, synchronization and low-level control, calibration and debug tooling, development of CI/CD pipelines for embedded firmware, real-time monitoring and fault-handling across OTPU platforms. Candidates should have at least 3 years’ experience with hardware bring-up, calibration or debug of custom hardware systems (SoCs, FPGAs or AI accelerators), deep proficiency in C/C++ for embedded applications and strong Python for prototyping and automation, familiarity with embedded toolchains, hardware-software boundaries, and working in fast, cross-disciplinary start-up settings.
