Concrete4Change—a pioneering deep-tech R&D company accelerating breakthrough CO₂ mineralisation technology in concrete—is seeking a Senior Process Engineer to lead scale-up efforts from lab pilot to commercial demonstration. Based at their Nottingham pilot facility, you’ll work closely with the CTO to define and optimise scale-up plans, develop process models (heat and mass balance, PFDs, equipment sizing, techno-economic profiles), commission and operate pilot systems, manage operations, maintenance, and troubleshooting, and ensure learnings feed into commercial-scale design. You will also oversee engineering planning, lead cross-functional project teams including subcontractors/EPCs, and ensure safety, documentation, and schedule adherence. The position requires 10+ years of experience in process scale-up, pilot plant operations, solids handling or mineral processing, strong project management, and unit operations expertise. Familiarity with tools like Python, Aspen, cost modeling, PLCs, chemical instrumentation, carbon capture or cement chemistry is beneficial.
