OLIX is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead and scale its Compiler & Performance Modelling teams responsible for Optical Tensor Processing Units (OTPUs). In this hands-on leadership role, you will define the engineering strategy, oversee the development of the compiler stack, and drive performance modelling to ensure OTPU designs meet ambitious hardware and software goals. You will manage high-performing teams, mentor engineers, and establish scalable processes while delivering complex, cross-functional projects spanning optics, hardware, and software. Responsibilities include pre-silicon emulation, distributed inference, and detailed performance analysis using modern toolchains such as LLVM, MLIR, XLA/OpenXLA, SystemC, Gem5, or QEMU. The role requires experience leading technical teams in fast-paced, high-expectation environments, scaling engineering organizations, and delivering measurable outcomes.
