Duffel is rebuilding the infrastructure that powers global travel, modernising airline distribution, search, and booking through a single, developer-first API used for millions of flight bookings. As an Engineering Team Lead in London, you will help shape and scale the core API that integrates with hundreds of airlines, each with unique systems and constraints, while delivering a world-class developer experience. You will lead by example through hands-on engineering, contribute to API and system design, and influence engineering standards, processes, and long-term technical direction. Working in a collaborative hybrid environment, you’ll balance technical trade-offs with business impact, communicate clearly across teams, and help define how Duffel builds reliable, elegant, and maintainable systems. The role values strong engineering fundamentals over specific languages, with current technologies including Elixir, Phoenix, Kubernetes, and Google Cloud Platform.
