This is a rare and exceptionally exciting opportunity for an experienced FPGA Design Engineer to become part of a rapidly expanding research and development team in Oxford, Oxfordshire, focusing on groundbreaking advancements in the field of quantum computing technology. This role places you at the forefront of innovation, working alongside top engineers and scientists on revolutionary projects that aim to shape the future of computational power. The ideal candidate will have solid, hands-on experience in FPGA design using both VHDL and Verilog, as well as a deep understanding of digital signal processing (DSP) algorithms and their implementation using Xilinx IP blocks and HDL. You will also play a crucial role in embedded systems development, requiring a foundational grasp of embedded programming. Familiarity with control systems, IP integration, and high-speed digital interfaces is also highly beneficial. The working model is hybrid, with three days spent onsite in Oxford and two days working remotely, offering flexibility alongside strong team collaboration.
