A leading technology recruitment firm, Randstad Digital, is hiring a highly skilled Full Stack Automation Engineer for an innovative robotics and artificial intelligence project based in London. The company is working on the development of advanced humanoid robots designed for real-world industrial applications, aiming to support industries such as manufacturing, construction, logistics, and other sectors that face increasing labor shortages and challenging working conditions. The selected candidate will play a key role in designing and developing a centralized web-based platform used to control robotic systems, manage laboratory operations, monitor system performance, and visualize key performance indicators using modern front-end technologies such as React. In addition to front-end development, the engineer will also build robust backend services and APIs that enable seamless communication between web platforms, robotic hardware, and monitoring systems. The role also involves developing lightweight software services that run directly on robots, enabling remote control, diagnostics, data collection, and operational state management. The engineer will integrate Human Interface Devices such as joysticks and game controllers to allow intuitive and low-latency control of robot movements and actions. Responsibilities include implementing automation pipelines for software deployment, monitoring, and diagnostics, ensuring reliable and scalable system performance. The candidate will also develop testing frameworks covering the user interface, backend services, robotic software, and hardware integration to maintain high reliability and system stability. Ideal applicants should have strong programming experience in Python along with knowledge of lower-level programming languages such as C++ or C, as well as experience with API development, distributed systems, networking protocols, and container technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes. Familiarity with robotics frameworks like ROS, real-time monitoring systems, and scalable platform architecture will be highly advantageous. The position offers a highly competitive salary ranging from £120,000 to £150,000 per year and provides both visa sponsorship and relocation support for international candidates, making it an excellent opportunity for talented engineers worldwide to work on cutting-edge robotics and automation technologies in one of the world’s leading technology hubs.
