The Head of Engineering at Neurolabs is responsible for leading and scaling the technical team to deliver AI-driven products for real-time retail execution. This role involves defining and driving the engineering roadmap, overseeing end-to-end AI project delivery from prototyping to production, and ensuring robust, reliable, and scalable AI systems. The candidate will mentor and grow a high-performing engineering team, including ML engineers, MLOps specialists, data engineers, and infrastructure staff, while collaborating closely with product, research, and commercial teams. They will balance short-term project execution with long-term architectural scalability, make key technical and architectural decisions, and step into hands-on work when needed, including model iteration, performance optimization, and system design. The role requires exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills, experience in computer vision and neural networks, cloud-based infrastructure expertise (AWS, GCP, or Azure), and a strong track record of delivering AI products at scale. The candidate will also help integrate AI systems with commercial operations, translate technical complexity into business value, and maintain alignment across teams.
