An exciting opportunity has arisen to join Aston University’s HR Systems team at a pivotal time as the University delivers on its Aston 2030 Strategy. The HR Systems Advisor will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of HR systems while also contributing to longer-term system improvements and enhancements. Reporting to the Head of HR Systems, the postholder will provide end-user support, troubleshoot issues, and collaborate with HR colleagues on projects, upgrades, and process improvements. This is a hands-on role that balances operational support with the chance to influence innovation, efficiency, and impact across HR processes. The successful candidate will be a proactive problem-solver with excellent communication and organisational skills, strong attention to detail, and prior experience in system support or user assistance. While experience with reporting and data analysis is desirable, it is not essential.
