Jisc is hiring an IT Engineer (1st Line Support) to join their Workplace IT Service Desk team at the Bristol office. This is a full-time, permanent, office-based position requiring 35 hours of work per week. As the first point of contact for technical support, the role involves providing in-person and remote assistance, managing and triaging IT service tickets, installing and configuring IT hardware and software, supporting video conferencing services, and maintaining user accounts in line with access control policies. The ideal candidate will have strong customer service skills and experience in IT support, preferably with knowledge of ITSM systems, Windows and Mac operating systems, and basic networking concepts. Jisc offers a competitive salary of circa £25,000 per annum, depending on experience, and a generous benefits package, including 31 days annual leave (plus bank holidays), flexible pension schemes, healthcare support, mental health resources, LinkedIn Learning access, and more.
