Jisc is looking for a full-time, office-based IT Support Engineer (1st line) to join their team in Bristol, UK, offering a salary of circa £25,000 per annum along with exceptional benefits. As part of the Workplace IT Service Desk team, the successful candidate will deliver outstanding first-line technical support to both internal and external customers. Responsibilities include triaging and managing support tickets using the ITSM system, diagnosing and resolving IT issues, configuring hardware and software, maintaining user accounts, and supporting video conferencing solutions. Applicants should have experience in customer-facing IT environments and ideally possess skills in Windows and Mac OS, basic networking, and using remote support tools. While meeting all criteria isn’t required, Jisc values passion and potential.
