Hutchison Ports UK is hiring a Shift-Based IT Support Technician to join its Information Systems Department at the Port of Felixstowe, the UK’s largest deep-water port. The role involves proactive system monitoring, responding to alerts, preventing service disruptions, and providing first and second line IT support both in person and remotely via phone and email. Responsibilities include logging, prioritising, and resolving incidents and service requests in line with service level agreements (SLAs), escalating issues where required, and working closely with relevant technical teams. As this is an on-site, shift-based position involving nights and weekends, the role requires a high level of self-motivation, accountability, and independent decision-making. Additional shift pay is provided, and Skilled Worker visa sponsorship may be available subject to meeting UK government eligibility requirements.
