GE Aerospace is currently seeking a highly skilled Lead Electrical Engineer – Sustainment to join their team in Cheltenham, Gloucestershire. In this role, you will be responsible for leading the configuration, development, and support of power distribution products used in commercial aircraft. This includes managing the full product lifecycle from early design and customer specifications to upgrades and aftermarket solutions. You will apply your deep expertise in electrical power systems, including AC/DC wiring, circuit breakers, relays, and electrical panels, to create and verify engineering design data, resolve complex engineering issues, support production and manufacturing processes, and contribute to the implementation of service bulletins and retrofit packages. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Siemens Capital Electrical Design modules, a strong understanding of safety and reliability standards, and a proven ability to lead cross-functional teams. You’ll be involved in root cause analysis for field issues, propose corrective actions, and ensure continuous improvement through lessons learned.
