Concrete4Change (C4C) is a deep-tech climate company developing patented CO₂ mineralisation technology to permanently lock carbon dioxide into concrete and reduce clinker dependency, supporting global decarbonisation efforts. The Lead Material Chemist role involves leading the chemistry roadmap, designing and optimising experimental programmes related to mineralisation mechanisms, additive formulation and crystallisation pathways, and supporting scale-up from laboratory to pilot and industrial environments. The role includes hands-on leadership of R&D activities, mentoring scientists, collaborating with engineering and concrete teams, supporting pilot plant validation, contributing to grant funding and reporting, engaging with academic and industrial partners, and presenting technical results to leadership and investors. This is a senior technical role requiring strong materials or inorganic chemistry expertise and offers visa sponsorship for the right candidate.
