Bluebird is hiring an LLM Engineer in London to join a small, highly technical team building real-world, production-grade LLM-powered and agentic AI systems. The role involves owning the full machine learning lifecycle, including training, fine-tuning, evaluation, deployment, and scaling of large language model systems used by real users. The engineer will design and build LLM-powered applications in Python, work with RAG pipelines, orchestration logic, and multi-model workflows using modern LLM APIs such as OpenAI, Anthropic, and Gemini, and deploy models on production infrastructure including Kubernetes, cloud platforms, and multi-GPU environments. The ideal candidate has strong Python skills, hands-on experience with production LLM systems, solid knowledge of embeddings, evaluation techniques, and modern ML tooling such as PyTorch, Hugging Face, and FastAPI. Experience with agentic workflows, ML observability tools, and cloud deployment is a plus. This is a London-based on-site role offering visa sponsorship for eligible candidates and a competitive salary of up to €110,000.
