As an M&A Tech Engineer, you will play a strategic role in driving innovation and growth through mergers and acquisitions, combining deep technical expertise with business insight. You will identify and evaluate acquisition opportunities in the AI ecosystem, conduct in-depth technical due diligence on target companies—including product evaluation, code review, and scalability assessment—and collaborate with internal Product, Engineering, Legal, and Finance teams to ensure alignment with Mistral’s strategic objectives. The role involves close collaboration with the CEO, CTO, and senior leadership to shape Mistral’s growth strategy and enhance its technical capabilities. Ideal candidates have a strong foundation in computer science, data science, or engineering, solid understanding of machine learning algorithms and LLMs, familiarity with Python, LangChain, and vector databases, and a strategic mindset suited for the AI startup ecosystem.
