Magentic is hiring a Platform Engineer to build, scale, and own the cloud-native infrastructure that powers its AI-driven procurement platform, working at an early stage to design a secure, highly observable, multi-tenant and multi-cloud system using infrastructure-as-code and GitOps best practices. The role involves close collaboration with development teams to enable secure software delivery, AI-agent workflows, and automation, while balancing performance, cost, and security at scale. You will design and operate production cloud environments on Azure and/or AWS, manage containerized systems, champion compliance and reliability, and turn security into a competitive advantage, all while working with a highly experienced founding team backed by Sequoia Capital. The position is full-time, hybrid in London, offers a salary of £110,000–£120,000 plus equity and benefits, and includes visa sponsorship.
