The role involves designing, developing, and testing high-power conversion systems (AC-AC, DC-DC, DC-AC) above 10 kW, covering the full product lifecycle from simulation and modelling to functional, thermal, and electrical testing, validation, certification support, and EMC compliance testing with design-level mitigation. The engineer will apply expertise in wide-bandgap technologies, particularly SiC-based systems, and develop analogue and digital circuits while producing technical documentation and safety files for approvals. Essential skills include strong grounding in power electronics design, control methods, system simulation, understanding of switching devices, thermal design, electromagnetic assembly, embedded control, and EMC behaviour. Desirable experience includes energy, industrial, or high-power product development.
