The Principal Data Governance Lead at Jisc will play a pivotal role in shaping and implementing a comprehensive data governance framework to enhance data management, data quality, and metadata standards across the Licensing domain. In this hybrid, full-time position, you will design, test, and deliver technical and service-based solutions that improve data stewardship, streamline data flows, and ensure compliance with governance policies while collaborating closely with Jisc’s central data governance team as part of a federated governance model. You will oversee the ownership and stewardship of key data assets, including metadata, glossary terms, data products, and data quality remediation efforts, while leading a dedicated team supporting internal stakeholders and external customers across the education and research sector.
