Product Manager – Optical and Photonic Systems at Nu Quantum Ltd, Cambridge, UK (on-site, full‑time, permanent, with visa sponsorship, closing date 18 August 2025 at 10 am): lead development of quantum networking products focused on the company’s ‘Dynamic Entangler’ platform featuring low‑loss switching and high‑performance single‑photon detectors. You will define and own the product roadmap in consultation with internal stakeholders (including architecture, engineering, control, optics, electronics, software and marketing teams), align product strategy with commercial goals, conduct market analysis and competitive benchmarking, collaborate with scientists and external partners, negotiate supplier terms, and drive product launch planning. Requirements include at least a bachelor’s or postgraduate qualification in physics, optics, engineering, materials science or similar; understanding of quantum physics and technology; ability to translate technical detail into market positioning; excellent written and verbal communication; experience in multi-disciplinary problem solving and working autonomously in a fast-evolving environment. Desirable skills include experience in quantum optics or photonic integrated circuits, familiarity with commercialization of high-technology products, and working with technical tools like Notion, YouTrack, GitHub.
