The University of Leeds is seeking an experienced and dynamic Project Manager to lead the operational delivery of the £1.9 million UKRAS STEPS programme. This high-impact national initiative aims to strengthen the UK research ecosystem for technicians in Robotics and Autonomous Systems (RAS). Working within the School of Mechanical Engineering and closely with the Programme Manager, the role involves managing complex research and innovation activities, promoting technical excellence, and supporting strategic collaborations across 37 UK universities. The Project Manager will oversee structured delivery, stakeholder engagement, and adherence to ethical and environmental best practices. UKRAS STEPS focuses on advancing technical skills, inclusivity, and sustainability through professional networking, training, and international collaboration. The position offers 26 days of holiday plus 16 additional closure days, a generous pension scheme with 14.5% employer contribution, health and wellbeing benefits, and opportunities for professional development.
