The Project Manager for the UKRAS STEPS programme will lead the operational delivery of a major £1.9 million national initiative aimed at strengthening the UK ecosystem for research technicians in Robotics and Autonomous Systems. Working closely with the Programme Manager, the role involves managing complex research and innovation projects, enhancing strategic collaborations, ensuring high-impact delivery, and supporting the development of a professional network for technicians, laboratory staff, and facility managers across 37 UK universities involved in the UKRAS community. The position’s responsibilities include advancing technical skills development, promoting inclusivity, enabling networking and knowledge exchange, and ensuring that the programme is professionally managed, ethical, and sustainable.
