The University of Glasgow is seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to lead the ‘GCR Neuranics Advanced Manufacturing Capacity for Sensor Technology’ project, a major initiative supporting Scotland’s advanced manufacturing supercluster focused on nanotechnology, semiconductors, and quantum technology. This project aims to establish a state-of-the-art nanofabrication centre in Glasgow, enabling the production of ultra-sensitive magnetic sensors in the UK, reducing dependence on overseas facilities, and strengthening domestic supply chains. The Project Manager will oversee all aspects of project delivery, including planning, budgeting, stakeholder coordination, risk management, and reporting, while building partnerships with industry, academia, and government bodies. The role requires expertise in project management methodologies, financial oversight, and collaboration within research or technology environments, with a strong understanding of nanofabrication or electronics. This full-time position offers a salary range of £41,064 to £46,049 per annum and is eligible for visa sponsorship under the UK Skilled Worker route, providing an excellent opportunity to contribute to groundbreaking innovation in the UK’s technology sector while working within a globally respected academic institution.
