As a Quantum Control Engineer, you will design, commission, and operate experiment control systems for quantum networking units, integrating with trapped-ion quantum processors. The role involves building Python-based control interfaces, real-time control using ARTIQ and Sinara hardware, automating experiments, analysing data, and interfacing with instruments such as oscilloscopes, power supplies, lasers, RF systems, and custom electronics. The ideal candidate is a system-level thinker skilled in debugging, instrumentation, automation, and R&D software development.
