The Quantum Innovation Sector Lead role at the National Quantum Computing Centre (NQCC), part of STFC, focuses on accelerating the development and adoption of quantum computing in the UK by working across government, academia, and industry. The successful candidate will collaborate with stakeholders to drive quantum readiness across key sectors like Financial Services, Pharmaceuticals, Advanced Materials, Energy, Healthcare, Aerospace, and Telecommunications. This position requires a combination of stakeholder engagement, strategic thinking, and technical expertise in quantum computing or related fields. The role includes developing and delivering innovation strategies, supporting user engagement activities, facilitating new product and service development, managing projects, and leading technology roadmaps for critical sectors. Applicants should have a degree in physics, computer science, mathematics, or a related field, with strong experience in quantum technologies or industry engagement.
