QDSL is actively hiring a Reliability Engineer to join its newly expanding team focused on Reliability & Safety at all levels—from sub-components to full automotive products. This role requires a strong understanding of failure mechanisms, risk analysis, and system-level impacts across various vehicle components like engines, batteries, inverters, and EDUs. The candidate will perform FMECA, FRACAS, FTA, and other analysis techniques, while also managing reliability databases, developing RCM strategies, and carrying out component lifecycle and digital tool-based evaluations using software like Reliasoft and Minitab. Responsibilities include working with cross-functional teams to improve product reliability, conducting field data analysis, defining system requirements, and leading failure investigations using structured methods such as 8D and 5WHYs. Required qualifications include a degree in mechanical or electrical engineering, three or more years of relevant experience, and expertise in reliability standards (e.g., ISO, JEDEC, AEC-Q), modeling, and statistical tools like Weibull and DOE. Knowledge of ISO26262 is highly desirable. The role offers a competitive salary, pension, 28 days of holiday, and UK visa sponsorship for qualified international candidates, with the potential for hybrid or remote working arrangements.
