The University of Glasgow is hiring a Research Assistant/Associate within the School of Infection and Immunity to work on an exciting Gut Translational Research project led by Professor Gwo-tzer Ho, focusing on the immunobiology of gut repair and regeneration in human Inflammatory Bowel Diseases. The role involves cutting-edge work in immunology, molecular data handling, and translational science using advanced in vitro platforms, including IBD gut stem cells and immune cell co-cultures. Candidates will contribute to research design, data analysis, publications, and mentoring while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team of immunologists, clinical researchers, and data scientists. This full-time position (Grade 6/7, salary £33,951–£46,049 per annum) is fixed-term for up to three years and offers visa sponsorship under the Skilled Worker route.
