M-XR is hiring a Senior Backend Engineer to design, build and scale backend application services for their AI-powered 3D/PBR SaaS platform. The role involves developing high-performance user-facing APIs using FastAPI, handling user authentication and account systems via Auth0, integrating subscription and payment flows through Stripe, managing databases such as MongoDB and PostgreSQL, and implementing asset storage and retrieval on AWS S3. You will also build and manage asynchronous ML workflows using SNS and SQS, implement monitoring and logging through CloudWatch, Grafana, and Prometheus, and handle CI/CD processes via Bitbucket Pipelines. The engineer will work closely with frontend developers and ML teams to deliver seamless artist workflows, automate 3D asset texturing and processing, and bring cutting-edge 3D and AI technologies to a global user base.
