Senior FPGA Network Engineer | London | Hybrid | £80k–£120K + Lucrative Stock Options – This role is with a forward-thinking computer networking company based in London, working at the forefront of AI and Machine Learning to enhance data center and HPC productivity while driving sustainability. They are seeking an experienced FPGA Engineer with a minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in FPGA design for 100Gb/s networks and high-speed memory and interfacing technologies such as PCIe, CXL, RDMA, DDR4, Ethernet, and GTM. You will be a part of a multidisciplinary R&D team responsible for prototyping, risk analysis, internal and client delivery, and documentation. Strong knowledge of FPGA tool flows (synthesis, partitioning, place & route, timing analysis) is essential, along with proficiency in SystemVerilog, Verilog, VHDL, and scripting using TCL or Python. Experience with Xilinx Versal Premium, Intel Agilex 7, and tools like Quartus, Vivado, Vitis, and ModelSim is also required. Candidates with exposure to high-level synthesis (HLS) and test environments such as Verilator and GHDL will be preferred. The role offers a competitive salary of up to £120,000 DOE, lucrative stock options, 25 days holiday plus bank holidays, hybrid working, relocation assistance, and visa sponsorship.
