Scopely is seeking a Senior Graphics Engineer to join our team in Ireland, UK, Spain, or Portugal on a hybrid or remote basis, with full visa sponsorship support available from any location. In this role, you will bring strong rendering expertise and a passion for creating high-quality, high-performance visuals, working on real-time rendering features and optimizations to ensure our games look and run their best across a wide range of devices. You will develop and optimize rendering features on mobile platforms using Vulkan and Metal, implement GPU-driven systems for visibility, culling, and LOD, refine modern techniques like clustered lighting, temporal anti-aliasing, and super-resolution, and collaborate on real-time global illumination features. Your work will include writing and optimizing shaders, profiling GPU/CPU performance with advanced tools, contributing to GPU memory layout and render pass strategies, and working closely with engine and content teams to balance visual quality and performance across platforms. We are in the early stages of building an ambitious unannounced cross-platform Strategy/MMO title, offering the opportunity to innovate and shape visuals at a foundational stage. The role requires at least 5 years of graphics programming experience with strong C++ skills, deep knowledge of Vulkan and/or Metal APIs, Unity SRP, mobile GPU architecture, and expertise in profiling and optimization workflows, with bonus points for experience with UE5 Nanite/Lumen, custom engine development, or cross-platform rendering.
