Responsibilities include optimising epitaxial layers, working with foundries, performing device simulations and characterisation, developing high-speed modulation and array uniformity strategies, and ensuring system-level bandwidth, power, and reliability targets. Candidates should have 7+ years of VCSEL experience, strong understanding of III-V semiconductor systems, epitaxial growth techniques, high-speed laser modulation, thermal management, and cross-functional collaboration.
