About the job

As a Senior Machine Learning Engineer at PhysicsX, you will work closely with a multidisciplinary team of world-class engineers, physicists, and developers from top institutions such as DeepMind, Google, Microsoft, and McLaren. Your core responsibility will be to design and build production-grade infrastructure that serves advanced machine learning models at scale. This includes developing data and training pipelines, training and evaluating models, and deploying them into production environments with appropriate monitoring and alerting. You’ll integrate these systems into robust software products and physics-based simulation workflows, using tools like PyTorch, TensorFlow, Docker, AWS/GCP, and Kubernetes. You'll also collaborate with our physicists and software engineers to translate model outputs into meaningful industrial design decisions. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience in industry, strong programming skills in Python, expertise in developing scalable ML systems, familiarity with cloud computing, and a deep understanding of ML tools and frameworks. A strong product mindset, experience in MLOps, and the ability to bridge ML with physics-informed modeling will be a plus.
