As a Senior Project Manager at Automation Experts Ltd, you will lead end-to-end project delivery from initiation through final acceptance testing while acting as the primary client contact to understand both technical and commercial needs. You will manage budgets, validate financials, control costs, identify risks and mitigation strategies, and maintain comprehensive project documentation such as budgets, labour forecasts, risk registers, schedules, and change management records. The role requires building and managing detailed project schedules using MS Project, reporting regularly to senior leadership and clients, handling scope changes through formal processes, and leading project close-out reviews to capture lessons learned and drive improvement. The ideal candidate has proven experience managing multiple complex projects in industrial automation, bespoke capital equipment, or engineering systems, with strong knowledge of planning tools, commercial awareness, contractual and financial elements, analytical thinking, and excellent client relationship skills.
