LUX is a fast-growing start-up developing Clean Liquid Hydrogen technology. As a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer, you will lead mechanical system design and development across projects, working with project managers, senior leadership, and external suppliers. Responsibilities include cradle-to-grave mechanical design, CAD modeling using Siemens NX, tolerance stack analysis, system integration, component/material selection, P&ID creation, simulations, testing, and mentoring junior engineers. Candidates require 5+ years mechanical design experience, expertise in Siemens NX CAD, strong mechanical knowledge, and a valid UK driving license. Preferred qualifications include MSc or higher in Mechanical Engineering, 7+ years of experience, expertise in pressure vessel and valve design, coding skills, and knowledge of hydrogen and cryogenic engineering.
