Kernel is an AI-native data platform that helps enterprise RevOps teams clean, enrich, and structure CRM data at scale. The Senior Product Engineer role involves building user-facing features, shipping fast, and working across backend and product engineering to support and scale Kernel’s infrastructure. You will design and develop product features that impact user workflows, collaborate with product, design, and engineering teams, maintain clean and scalable code, ensure performance for large-scale data operations, automate workflows to improve developer velocity, support integrations with CRMs and third-party APIs, and participate in roadmap discussions. The ideal candidate has 6+ years of engineering experience, strong backend expertise in NodeJS, Postgres, and TypeScript, and the ability to work autonomously in a high-velocity startup environment. Experience with Kubernetes, distributed systems, AI-driven products, NextJS, React, and CRM data models is a plus. This hybrid London role requires at least 3 days in the office. Kernel offers £120K–£200K salary, equity, 24 days holiday, pension, WFH flexibility, top-spec equipment, team events, and direct collaboration with founders.
