IC Resources is hiring a Senior RFIC Design Engineer for a world-leading semiconductor client based in Cambridge, United Kingdom, with on-site working, UK visa sponsorship, and a relocation package available. Located in the UK’s high-tech hub, the Cambridge RFIC Design Centre plays a critical role in developing advanced RF transceivers using cutting-edge CMOS process nodes, currently focused on 5G technologies and transitioning toward 6G. In this role, the Senior RFIC Design Engineer will be responsible for the specification, design, implementation, and verification of complex analog and RF circuit blocks and subsystems for 5G RF ICs, including filters, low-noise amplifiers (LNAs), power amplifiers (PAs), and mixers, with the goal of achieving excellent first-silicon performance. The position requires a strong analytical mindset, proven industrial experience in RF circuit design using advanced CMOS technologies (16nm or below), a solid understanding of modern transceiver architectures, and practical knowledge of RF IC layout optimisation. Candidates should hold a BSc or MSc degree in Electronics Engineering or a related field.
