OLIX is building the next-generation Optical Tensor Processing Unit (OTPU) to deliver unmatched AI hardware performance. The Senior/Staff Digital Design Engineer will take end-to-end ownership of high-speed, real-time data-processing silicon—from early algorithm modelling to verified RTL and silicon bring-up. Responsibilities include designing high-throughput digital pipelines, FPGA prototyping, RTL development (SystemVerilog/Verilog/VHDL), algorithm modelling in MATLAB/Simulink or Python, power/performance/area analysis, and cross-functional collaboration with optical, mixed-signal, and software teams. Required experience: 7+ years hands-on digital design for high-performance ASICs or SoCs, timing closure on multi-GHz clock domains, integrating high-speed IP (SerDes, HBM/DDR, PCIe, 100GbE), EDA tool proficiency, FPGA prototyping, DSP and computer architecture expertise.
