An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Systems Engineer to join a leading space engineering team developing the infrastructure and software that enable mission-critical spacecraft operations. This is a high-impact role with significant autonomy, where you’ll lead the development of ground systems from concept through to maintenance, shaping the technology that supports safe and efficient mission control. You’ll act as a bridge between Mission & Systems Engineering and Operations, ensuring that ground systems are robust, integrated, and ready to deliver across all phases of flight operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of ground segment architecture and experience across multiple missions, taking ownership and mentoring others in a fast-paced environment. Key responsibilities include leading the development of ground systems, defining segment requirements, managing Agile-based projects, and supporting V&V and system integration activities. Required qualifications include a degree in Computer Science, Telecommunications, or related engineering, with at least 5 years of experience in satellite ground systems engineering. Desirable skills include knowledge of SCOS-2000, automation systems, ECSS standards, and programming in C++ or Java.
