The Senior Systems Engineer role at Holt Executive Ltd offers an exciting opportunity to work within a leading space engineering team responsible for developing the critical infrastructure and software that support mission-critical spacecraft operations. In this high-impact position, you will take ownership of designing, developing, and maintaining ground systems from concept through to deployment, ensuring seamless mission control, planning, and ground-station communication. Acting as a key link between Mission & Systems Engineering and Operations, you will ensure that ground systems are integrated, reliable, and fully prepared for every phase of flight operations. This position is ideal for an engineer with deep knowledge of ground segment architecture and multi-mission experience who is ready to lead, mentor others, and operate in a fast-paced, innovative environment. Responsibilities include leading ground system development, defining requirements, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders, following Agile/SCRUM practices, maintaining documentation, supporting integration and simulation activities, and providing training and troubleshooting support to operations teams. Candidates should bring a degree in a relevant engineering discipline, at least five years’ experience in satellite ground systems, strong requirements engineering and system integration skills, and excellent communication abilities. Desirable experience includes SCOS-2000, automation systems, antenna communications, ECSS/CCSDS standards, and programming skills in C++ or Java.
