Astroscale UK is seeking a Simulation Software Engineer to join its SATSIM team in Harwell, UK, supporting the safe and sustainable development of space. The role involves designing, developing, testing, and maintaining spacecraft simulation software in collaboration with software and aerospace engineers. Responsibilities include integrating flight software into simulator environments, validating and deploying simulation tools, developing scripts based on operational scenarios, and ensuring simulator availability for users. The position requires strong experience in modern C++ (C++14), Linux-based development, real-time software systems, object-oriented design, UML, and test-driven development. Experience with spacecraft simulation frameworks, Agile development, and ECSS standards is desirable.
