Mistral AI is hiring experienced backend Software Engineers to join its Deployment team, responsible for deploying and integrating models, APIs, and AI Studio across multiple infrastructures, including cloud providers, private clouds, and on-premises environments. The role involves ensuring fast and reliable product launches, building and improving infrastructure for packaging and deployment, maintaining AI safety on third-party platforms, and collaborating with stakeholders to achieve high availability and performance. Engineers will build automation for scalable deployments, enhance architectures for multi-configuration support, drive cross-functional improvements with product engineering teams, and contribute to key architectural trade-offs. Candidates should have 5+ years of professional experience, a Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field, strong backend development skills (Python, Golang), proficiency in infrastructure management (Docker, CI/CD, Kubernetes, Helm, Terraform), and familiarity with cloud ecosystems and LLM deployment challenges. The role is primarily based in Paris, with flexibility for candidates in France, UK, Germany, Netherlands, Spain, or Italy, requiring onboarding in Paris and regular monthly visits.
