The Systems Engineer at SSTL will lead and support space missions from LEO to GEO and beyond, covering the full mission lifecycle from concept, design, environmental testing, launch, commissioning, and operational life. The role involves system-level design of space and ground segments, mission analysis, requirements and verification management, customer interactions, and technical leadership across multiple engineering disciplines. Candidates should have a degree in Engineering, Physics, or Maths, experience as a spacecraft Systems Engineer, knowledge of orbit analysis, RF link design, satellite architectures, environmental testing, STK/Matlab, and strong technical writing and presentation skills.
